What an awesome way to end our first month of school in the lower school library ! After many days of rain and typhoon cancellations, we were able to finally hold our FIRST Pajama party for students who participated in the summer reading challenge.
The lower school library was filled with about 45 lower school students who were all dressed in their pajamas ready to celebrate their summer reading projects. The students were welcomed with two awesome song numbers from Mr. Greenan from second grade and Ms. Denise from LS Art. Afterwards, the students were divided into 3 stations : Storytelling , Games and Crafts. The storytelling station was led by Ms. Scannell from third grade and Mr. Waitzer from 4th grade. The games station was led by Mrs. Dominguez from third grade . Students were set to do a challenge of building the tallest , strongest tower using library books. The crafts station was led by Ms. Riza . The students created silly pajama hats to compliment their outfit. Cookies and chocolate milk were served and everyone got a little treat from our Principal, Ms. Silva. The event was a huge success and we look forward to more exciting activities in the library !
